Event Description

Join us as we climb up Maunalaha Ridge, cross several streams at the back of the valley, and stroll downhill along Kaneaole Stream. Learn why Makiki Valley has some of the most varied tropical plant life in the Islands. We'll see evidence of ancient Hawaiian settlement and early historic water projects. Moderate 2.5 mile hike. 10 years & up. Fee $10/person. Must call to register and reserve a spot.
