Fall 2009 Green Classes at UH Maui Community College
VITEC-Continuing Education and Training
Learn principles and practices of organic agriculture. Gerry Ross, owner of Kupa'a Farms, discusses gardening in cooperation with the ecosystem, and working with nature to grow healthy soil and plants. Topics include soil composition and biology, composting, cultural practices, weed management, plant diversity and design, and common pests and diseases.
