Event Description

Native Hawaiians have a tradition of caring for the land and the people of these islands. Faced with environmental, economic, and cultural challenges, leaders in the Hawaiian community engaged in the development of clean energy, scholars of cultural and resource management, and state policy makers come together to discuss policies and actions to ensure a sustainable energy future for Hawai‘i.
