Panelists from Hawaii Bioenergy, Kuehnle Agrosystems, Hawaii Natural Energy Institute, and Pacific Biodiesel.

Presentations from local companies engaged in the research and production of alternatives to fossil fuels, from algae to used cooking oil, discuss current developments in their field and their vision for the future.

Moderator MARIA TOME is a registered professional engineer. She serves as the program manager for renewable and transportation energy at the Hawaii State Energy Office of DBEDT; is the co-chair of the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative’s Working Group on Transportation and Biofuels; and is a member of the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative's Integration Committee.
