Glenn uprooted this tomato plant everyday for 2 weeks to demonstrate the versatility of aquaponic gardening. Access to the roots to check for an ammonia smell is a great indicator of the nitrogen content in the water and can help you assess and adjust nutrients, filtration, water pressure etc
