As an Individual, Business or Organization I've made the following efforts to give back to the community, be mindful of the environment, reduce waste, and/or stimulate the local economy.
I try to walk without depending on car. I often use public transportation in Japan, because the system in Japan is very puctual and efficient. I walk on steps without using automatic escalator, which trains my muscles and benefits my health. I am healthy and love feeling nature!! I have writing my experiences in Amazon jungle. I want to convey how wonderful and happy to live in harmony with nature by my own experiences.

My revised book has been published.

After living in Amazon jungle near Columbia in Brazil, I was fascinated in jungle. I like walling in the forest, walking near the sea, and in the mountain. I love swimming. Right now I am training myself swimming in the pool in Tokyo. I have a dream to swim with Whales in future. I think they are a great teacher and messenger of the sea.

Children's World

A revised edition of my first book, "Amazon Paradise" will be publishing soon. I am glad that I could refine my English and made corrections in the first book. Working as a professional interpreter in Tokyo for a while, my language abilities were raised up and I really appreciate all my experiences that the harsh business world has given to me.

By writing the second book (in English and Japanese both), another project was added to me.
I want to write a picture book for Children! It is about adv… Continue

Power of Music

After I came back from Amazon, I met a wonderful music.
Claire & Kaori (Mirai Kikaku Ltd.)

I hate rush hour in Tokyo. Very few people enjoy that.
I feel like my personality changes in a packed train. After the population cencentration and time length go to some extent, which is beyond of my patience capacity, I become like a porcupine...I feel irritated and try to protect from everything around me.

I had miraculous experiences.
I was tired. I listened to music by Claire & Kaori. They c… Continue

"We are born for joy and happiness!" Indios, Amazon Indigenous

After working hard on environmental activities, I was exhausted. I jumped into Amazon jungle to experience sustainable society by myself. I have met a Tucano Indio who was born and raised deep in Amazon near Columbia in Brazil. I have lived in his village and had an overwhemling experience. I could not express by words. Everything existed in nature already. Big laughters, lots of smiles flowing out form happy bodies and caring eyes of Indio. Being embraced in wilderness of Amazon, I was deeply h… Continue

Aloha,

Keith Rose here.

I’m organizing the ‘350 Honolulu’ rally to take place on Saturday October 24, 2009 from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the State Capitol.

On that day throughout the world, rallies will be held to raise awareness of climate change and to establish a goal of 350 parts per million of CO2. This movement is in preparation for the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen December 7-18, 2009.

This 350 ppm number is The Most Important Number in the World and is a tangible and appropriate goal that our leaders need to have in mind going into the Conference.

We want to make an iconic image from Honolulu and what I had in mind is to form a large human ‘350’ in front of the Capitol Building. I want to have this assembled for photo at 3:50 p.m. If we have enough people we’ll form a human lei around the building.

I have the permit for the rally and want your support and participation for this event. As an environmental leader, please spread the word to your circle of influence.

Please see www.350.org. Thos organization and movement is founded by Bill McKibben.

I look forward to hearing from you and let’s make this the most significant environmental rally to date!

Sustainably yours,
Keith Rose
